Joseph Scullin, MSW
“John Joseph “Joe” Scullin earned his Masters Degree in Social Work at Temple University in 1982.
He was instrumental in the litigation that brought about the broad availability of Early Periodic Screening, Diagnosis, and Treatment services (EPSDT) under Medical Assistance.
Joe worked for United Cerebral Palsy Association for over 35 years, retiring in 2013 as Director of Community Social Services. Through his networking and activism he has helped countless children, families and organizations identify and secure private and government benefits.
He has worked in the Funding Assistance Center for the PA Assistive Technology Foundation, and will soon be named Administrator for a new non-profit organization called Tools for Meeting Life’s Challenges.
He serves on numerous Boards and Committees, and gives presentations on services and benefits at over 25 area hospitals, schools and organizations.”
